If you receive a text like this – please do not open the link in the text. This is a scam and just DELETE the text!
This scam appears to have started in early October, 2021 – supposedly from T-Mobile. During the month, the scam changed to not mentioning a particular cell phone company.
What is the first clue that this is a scam? There was no phone outage on October 4th.
Be safe and please do not fall for such scams!
